Seasons: autum and spring
“There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—” Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP
We are sure that you have heard this verse many times in your life, and we are also sure that it has always been about your plans, your projects, but almost never about God.
Have you noticed that not all things last forever? The trees in spring are dressed in a green that captivates the heart, and during autumn, they are dressed in an orange that makes anyone fall in love. Yes, everything has a beginning and also an end. Because those beautiful leaves that break during autumn are only a reflection of their death. A beautiful death.
For this reason, everything in this life has an specific time, time to laugh out loud and time to take refuge in sadness. Time to dream and another time to fulfill those dreams. A time to speak and a time to be silent. There is a perfect time for everything.
And if you think a little deeper, if you review chapters in your life, you can realize that everything you have lived has been for a specific purpose, a purpose that goes beyond what you could ever plan.
Realize: if the pain lasted a lifetime, what meaning would live have ? And if laughter lasted forever, how could your character grow? Everything in this life is about seasons.
We don't know what season you are in right now. Perhaps blooming in the best stage of your life, or probably shedding in what you consider the worst you have been able to live.
The season that you live now fulfills a key function that brings you closer to God's Purpose for you. Because there is nothing that lasts forever, as He reminds us in His Word:
“I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy.” Psalms 30:5 TPT
Therefore, we want to encourage you not to give up on your process. If you are laughing or crying, God is still faithful. He takes care of you.
Everything changes.
Everything blooms.
Everything withers.
Everything dries up.
Everything turns green again.
This song reminds us of His Faithfulness throughout each season. We want to share it with you !
What season are you in?
